This kitchen and laundry room project, one of our earliest, continues to stand the test of time thanks to its classic finishes and carefully selected materials.

In the kitchen, IKEA cabinetry forms the foundation, elevated by timeless design choices. A checkerboard cork floor brings a touch of vintage character while offering a softer, more comfortable feel underfoot. A farmhouse sink paired with an oil-rubbed bronze faucet, hardware, and lighting adds warmth and a vintage character to this space. The kitchen also features a cream-colored table surrounded by slipcovered Parsons chairs—adding softness and charm to the space.

The laundry room, also outfitted with IKEA cabinetry, offers generous storage and functionality. A durable quartz countertop and a striking herringbone tile backsplash bring texture and elegance to this hardworking space. The adjacent linen closet is finished with a charming bifold door featuring ¾ frosted glass panels, adding both character and a light, airy touch.
